In Short

More About Me
I was born in Bangkok, Thailand and moved to Australia in October 2002. After arriving and settling in to Australian life, I decided to commence studies in Early Childhood. In 2007 I completed my Certificate III in Children’s Services, at TAFE. Following this, I commenced work as an Early Childhood Educator at a Long Day Care Centre in Ashfield, working with children aged 2-3 years. In 2009 – 2012 I gained employment at another centre in Glebe, working in the infants’ room. Following this role, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter.
In January 2015, I commenced in my role at WLDCC. I enjoy being a part of the ‘friendly team’ and warm environment at WLDCC. It’s a place where I feel comfortable and a strong sense of belonging.
My role as an Early Childhood Educator is very special. I love being involved in the children’s development and observing their fine motor skills, co-ordination and cognitive skills improve daily. I especially enjoy seeing the children’s self- confidence grow and how children play together as their social skills improve. It is so special to be able to interact with children as their communication skills develop. These milestones and achievements are very special and always bring so much light to my role at WLDCC.
I think the most important thing is to keep the children happy and safe while they are in my care. I continuously strive to provide each child with support and encouragement to build their self-confidence and independence.
