More About Me

I was born in New Delhi, India and completed my schooling and Bachelor of Commerce there. I moved to Australia in 2009 and commenced my Early Childhood studies in 2010. I am a diploma trained early childhood educator and have a passion for working with children.

I commenced in my role at WLDCC in 2011, after completing my ‘Certificate III in Children’s Services’. I enjoyed my role at the centre which inspired me to further my studies in Early Childhood. I completed my ‘Diploma in Children’s Services’ in 2015 and feel that my experience at WLDCC allowed for my learning to be more rich and meaningful!

I love working for the centre because we have a wonderful team and community that makes WLDCC such a special place. It’s a place where the staff are friendly, supportive, kind, dedicated and focus strongly on building a supportive and inclusive environment! WLDCC is like a home like environment! Our Director and Assistant director are always very helpful, flexible and help guide their staff in a positive way.

I am a passionate educator and love the work that I do! My favourite things about being an educator is that my role allows me to be an integral part of a child’s development. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow and progress while in my care. The fact that I am with the child for a significant amount of the day makes me realize that I largely influence them and can impact their lives. It’s a huge responsibility, but also an honour and a privilege.

I believe a happy childhood is what builds an individual’s characteristics and shapes them to become the best person they can possibly be in the future.  As an early childhood educator, I can have a positive and loving influence on these early stages and inspire children to reach their potential and prepare them for their further education. I believe that the most important thing for children, is to build their confidence so that they can believe in themselves and be inspired to reach their potential!
